About New Hope

OUR NEW HOPE HISTORY

In November of 1997, New Hope Christian Church was started as a cooperative effort between Northern Hills Christian Church, Rocky Mountain Christian Church, and several other churches along the Front Range through an organization called Church Planters of the Rockies (CPR).  In December of 2006, driven by a vision God had given him to do Church in a different way to reach people who would typically never step foot in church, Jeff Aenk became the Lead Pastor of New Hope.  He & his wife Julie moved here from Kansas, after 12 years of ministry there.  Since then, we’ve all been blown away by what God is doing here in our midst!  We’ve seen hundreds of lives changed!  We see decisions for Jesus every time we meet!  We’re seeing God’s New Hope family grow every time we meet!  We are excited you are considering being a part of this move of God at New Hope!

OUR NEW HOPE VISION

(Who we are & who we will continue to become)

Our Vision:  We are part of a massive move of God, changing one life at a time until we draw our last breath!

Our vision is to do church in a different way, to reach people who would typically never step foot in church & help each person God touches through us, to discover and live out God’s specific purpose for their life on earth.

We believe God is going to change thousands of lives forever through our ministry!

We do Church as close as possible to the way we see it in the Bible (the Gospels, Acts, New Testament, & Old Testament).  We are a mixed multi-cultural Church (Caucasian, Hispanic, African, Asian, Indian, etc.), that does not look down on others, or judge them on their appearance, clothing, or background (ethnic, religious, sexual, social, economic, etc.).  We are a Church where the Love & Forgiveness of God flows through every person to each other, and to each new person God brings here.  We are a Church that gives Hope to the lost, dying, struggling, and suffering.  We are a Church that encourages people and builds them up.  We are a Church that has fun and lives life with joy.  We are a Church of people who do life together in small groups, instead of walking alone in our journeys with Christ, and we share & help one another in times of need.  We are a Church that communicates God’s life-changing message with transparent hearts and with simple everyday language that anyone can understand.  We are a Church that lives & walks by Faith, on the Bread of Life (the Word of God), & the Living Water (Jesus Christ.)  We are a Church who lives and breathes with a white-hot passion, to Bring people to Jesus, Build them up in Him, & Send them out Changed With Him to touch a World in need!  Join us!  The Harvest is plentiful, but the Workers are few.

Here is the Mission, the Task; the Job Assignment Jesus gave His Disciples and His Church from the very beginning:

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.  Matthew 28:19-20

From this, Jesus gives us our job assignment today, Our New Hope Mission Statement:
