*****I AM A MISSIONARY
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO SHARE MY FAITH?
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 10:14-15 - 14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Matthew 28:18-20 - 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
2 Corinthians 5:20 - We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
Acts 26:16 - ‘Now get up and stand on your feet. I (Jesus) have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.
*****WARNING: We don’t do the SAVING, Jesus does!
John 14:6 - Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
THE EASIEST WAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Invite The People In My Life To Church
Acts 20:24 - However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
*One simple question with incredible implications:
Will you come to church with me?
50% of those you invite will join you the first time you ask.
75% will come when offered a 2nd or 3rd invitation.
100% will at least appreciate the thought even if they decline.
TWO INVITATIONS THAT CHANGED HISTORY
John 1:40-49 - 40 Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. 41 The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas” (which, when translated, is Peter).
43 The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.” 44 Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. 45 Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
46 “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked. “Come and see,” said Philip. 47 When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.” 48 “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.” 49 Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.”
Four Keys To A Powerful Invitation:
1. Believe that Jesus can Change lives.
2. Recognize that God wants to Use me.
3. Identify the people God wants me to Invite to Church.
4. Care enough to extend an Invitation.
The Best Time For An Invitation:
1. Easter
2. A Big Day
3. Topic Specific Messages
Colossians 4:5 - Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.

4. Romans 10:9-10 - 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
