PRINCE OF PEACE, 12-15-24

Dec 15, 2024

Key Verse – John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as

the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

The title “Prince of Peace” promises that the Messiah will bring true peace, soundness,

completeness, and harmony to those that choose to become “Children of God”, by confessing

His Lordship and thereby attaining His peace, both with God and with others!

Genesis 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and

subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves

on the ground.

Genesis 6:5 The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every

inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time”.

Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from

you.

James 4:1 “What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle

within you”.

Galatians 5:17 “For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is

contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want”.

Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be on His shoulders;

and He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Luke 2:14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

Luke 2:10-11 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will

be for all people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Christ, the

Lord.”

Philippians 4:6-7   Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with

thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all

understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

How Do I Find Peace During This Christmas Season?

1. First begin with prayer. Talk to God.

2. Second, begin to offer Thanksgiving. Thank Him for His blessings.

Instead of focusing on the negative, the bad things. Thank Him for all the good things.

3. Thirdly, make your requests known to Him and ask Him for what you need.

The result will be: …v7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts

and your minds in Christ Jesus.

4. Most importantly, if you don’t know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, turn your life to Him today and

ask Him into your heart.
